Members are advised that coyote snares have been set on neighbouring properties and have recently been found on the north fence line between our range and the gravel pit to the north. Dogs should be kept on leash. Note: These snares do not belong to Parkland Bowbenders.
Two members have lost releases at the range this week. Please be on the lookout for a: TRU BALL Goat Reo Wilde Signature Series release (lost Monday Dec 7), and a Spot Hogg 4 finger Whipper Snapper release (lost Thursday Dec 10). If found, please email Janet at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks so much everyone!
We have been advised that a large coyote displayed aggressive behaviour towards a member and his dog on Dec 3rd, near the long range targets. The member also located the coyote den nearby. Members are asked to be extra vigilant while at the range, especially if children or pets are present.
Members are advised that a layer of ice was just cleared off the stairs to the elevated stand today. A shovel has been placed nearby and if members are able to shovel snow accumulations off the stairs, it will prevent the stairs from icing up in the future. Many thanks!
