In becoming a member of Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club, I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

BY SIGNING THIS YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION, FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT

1) I understand there are risks and hazards associated with shooting archery both indoors and outdoors and I accept these risks and hazards willingly and in full. Risks and hazards including, but not limited to: shooting of arrows; removing arrows from targets; archery equipment failure; uneven ground; slipping and tripping hazards; falling branches and trees; falls from elevated shooting platforms; maintenance equipment, including UTV's, chainsaws and mowers; and wildlife; including bears, cougars and moose.

It is a condition of use of the facility at Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club that all members acknowledge and accept these risks and sign this waiver/release of liability. In agreeing to allow myself / my child / my ward to participate in the activities of Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club, I fully acknowledge and accept that risks exist and that I, on behalf of myself / or as a parent/guardian accept these risks. I am aware that I am encouraged to request further information as I may feel is necessary to allow me to make an informed judgement as to the inherent risks.

- I confirm that I have read the above and fully understand and freely accept the type of activity that I / my child / my ward will be participating in, and the inherent risks associated with those activities.

- I freely accept responsibility for myself / my child / my ward and agree to hold harmless and free of blame Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club, its executive directors, coaches, assistants, the landowner or facility operator responsible for any injury, loss or death resulting from using/participating in Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club facilities or programs.

- I waive any claim or right to instigate legal action against Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club, its executive directors, coaches, assistants, the landowner or facility operator for any damage, loss, expense, or bodily injury occurring while engaged in archery activities.

- I accept that this waiver and release is binding upon me and upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, personal representatives and assigns.

- I sign this waiver and release voluntarily and without pressure.

2) I will follow and accept all the club rules and conditions, including those posted from time to time at the outdoor range or indoor locations utilized for club events; and

3) I will conduct myself in a law abiding, safe and positive manner and will report any unsafe or malicious act occurring at Parkland Bowbenders facilities or programs immediately to the Club Executive; and

4) I will carry my membership card with me while using the Parkland Bowbenders facility, and present proof of membership upon request; and

5) I will not bring guests to the range without prior approval from the President of Parkland Bowbenders Archery Club. The names of all guests must be recorded in the Guest Log; and

6) I will support the club by volunteering time for work bees including spring cleanup, target maintenance, and fall takedown.

7) I consent to add my email to the Parkland Bowbenders subscription list. (You can unsubscribe at any time)
