Starting August 25th we will be starting road/parking lot refinishing. There will be heavy equipment at the range from Aug 25-30th. THE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED AUGUST 29th, 2026. The range will remain open throughout the duration.
The Alberta Indigenous Games will starting today until August 13th. The range will be open to members but there will be sections of the range in constant use. Tuesday August 11: Static range will be in use from 1-6PM Wednesday August 12: A & C Loop will be in use 9-5pm Thursday August 13: A
To all members, the 3D loops will be closed August 8th at 1pm as well as August 9th for our Extreme Hunter Shoot. The static range will still be accessible. If you would like to shoot on August 9th you can register for the Extreme Hunter Shoot here:
The record setting rain that has taken place this year has unfortunately flooded the end of B & C loop. If you want to shoot the last couple targets on both loops, you will need rubber boots.
We have recently had a couple separate incidents of broadhead use on our 3D targets as well as someone spray painting multiple dots on our static range targets. Just a reminder, this is not acceptable. We do not what to add any additional security measures to the range but we may be looking to do
We have postponed the Cabin Fever Shoot until May 3rd, due to weather. We apologize for the last minute notice.
The range is still open! Unfortunately, the road is quite wet and to allow it to dry we have changed the gate code so that there is only foot traffic. Once the road is dry, the sign on the gate will be removed and the gate code will be back to the 2026 access code.
Our junior program for 2026 is now full with the exception of children who have their own equipment. Even then, please enquire before submitting your application.
Glen has been our board Treasurer for 9 years and has gone over and above to take care of our finances. That being said, he’s looking forward to fully enjoying retirement so we are in need of a new Treasurer! The sooner you would be available the better to start cross training with Glen. A
